Description

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Electrical Performance

At 50 Hz, 1500 rpm, the generator delivers 230 kVA / 200 kW prime power and 250 kVA / 200 kW standby output with 400V, 3-phase voltage. At 60 Hz, 1800 rpm, it delivers 245 kVA / 215 kW prime power and 269 kVA / 215 kW standby output with 480V, 3-phase voltage.
Voltage regulation is highly stable at ±1%, with a harmonic coefficient (THF) of less than 2.5% and a telephone influence factor (TIF) below 50. Alternator cooling air flow is rated at 0.48 m³/sec.

Alternator

The generator utilizes an AQT I Leroy Somer or Stamford alternator, with model options including AQT I TAL-046-C and UCD274J. These alternators feature a 4-pole design with 6 winding leads, operating with a single bearing construction for reliability.
They come with Class H insulation and a temperature rise limit of 125°C at 40°C ambient. The alternators have an IP23 ingress protection rating and operate using a self-excited excitation system controlled by an AVR model R150.
All alternators comply with ISO 3046, BS 5514, DIN 6271, NEMA-MGI, DIN EN, BS 5000, IEC 60034, and IEC 60947-2 international standards.

Engine

At the heart of the generator is a Perkins 1506A-E88TAG2 or 1206A-E70TTAG2 diesel engine, configured as a 6-cylinder vertical in-line, 4-stroke unit. The engine features turbocharging with after-cooling for enhanced efficiency and output.
It’s equipped with a water cooling system and electronic governing, classified as G2 according to ISO 8528 Part 1.
The engine runs with a compression ratio of 16.1:1, a displacement of 8.8 liters, and bore and stroke dimensions of 112 mm x 149 mm. The dynamic charging alternator is rated at 45AMP, 24V. Overspeed protection is set at 2250 rpm.
