Description

TEJI's fully welded ball valves are engineered for robust performance in mid-stream gas transmission and distribution pipelines, particularly suitable for underground and buried installations. The design features a fixed ball and floating seat rings that move freely along the valve axis, ensuring reliable sealing under varying pressures.

Features and Benefits:

Upstream Sealing: Utilizes Belleville springs to maintain seat-to-ball contact at low pressures, while higher pressures enhance sealing as fluid pressure pushes seat rings against the ball.

Automatic Pressure Relief: Internal relief of excess body cavity pressure prevents dangerous pressure build-up, automatically releasing pressure exceeding downstream line pressure.

Rotating Seat Rings: Exclusive rotating seat feature (standard in sizes 14” and larger) evenly distributes wear by rotating 15 degrees with each valve closure, enhancing seat life and preventing sediment build-up.

Stem Seals: Delta seals and PTFE lip seals in the upper stem area ensure low-friction, non-deteriorating performance. Sealant injection provision maintains secondary seal integrity.

Trunnion-Supported Ball: Enables low-torque operation across all sizes and pressure ratings, with high-strength forged stems in PTFE impregnated stainless steel bearings for smooth, efficient operation.

Double Block-and-Bleed: Provides reliable isolation with both upstream and downstream sides of the ball blocked off from the body cavity, facilitating integrity testing and secondary seal restoration.
