Description

The floating ball valve features a ball that is free to move within the valve body. Under medium pressure, the ball can shift slightly, pressing tightly against the sealing surface at the outlet end to ensure a reliable seal. This simple yet effective design ensures good sealing performance, making it ideal for low to medium pressure applications. However, the load of the ball bearing the working medium is transferred to the outlet seal ring, so the material of the seal ring must be capable of withstanding this load, especially under high pressure.
